Commonly asked questions about our SEMINARS

Q:  It seems there are a million things I have to learn to land a job.  Can you REALLY teach me in a couple of hours?

A:  Take it easy!  You didn’t cram four or more years of college into one week and learning the ropes of how to find the best job isn’t going to happen overnight.  But, in our intense and interactive seminar, we will give you the tools to develop your "soft skills" as well as “definitive” information on what to do, when to do it, and why.

Q:  When is the best time for me to take your seminar?

A:  Anytime!  Our seminars are based on how to effectively present and market yourself as a prime candidate to potential employers.  In order to get the jump on the competition, you must allow yourself time to develop and practice the skills we teach you. So, act NOW! Interviews are not dress rehearsals, meaning you only get one shot to perform your very best!

Q:  What are the typical hours for your seminar program?

A:  Normally, seminars last two to three hours.

Q:  What do you mean by intense and interactive?

A:  There are NO BREAKS!  From the time we begin until the end of the seminar you are working.  This is an interactive learning experience.  Moreover, the seminars are “live and personal,” and by the time we get through with you, you are going to have “The Edge” over the competition for that perfect job.  It’s worth the Effort!!

Q:  Where are seminars scheduled?  How can I find seminars in my area?

A:  A schedule of seminar dates is constantly updated on this website located under the Dates, Times, and Locations tab.  Here you will find all the information needed to register and reserve a seat on your chosen date and selected location.  If a seminar is not currently scheduled near your campus, contact us and we can tell you when one is coming!

Q:  I need lots of help finding a job. Will I get personal attention during a seminar?

A:  Class sizes vary but they all allow for personalized attention, role playing, and practical application.  These seminars are interactive.  Each student is required to play an active role in the learning process.  No one is left behind!

Q:  Now that I have signed up for the seminar at my career services center, is there anything else I need to do or bring to the seminar.

A:  NO!  These seminars are COMPLETELY FREE and brought to your campus by our sponsoring corporations.  Remember:  Don’t be late!  It’s unprofessional and unacceptable, (this comment was a freebee)!  That’s all you need.  Everything else will be provided.
